Privacy Policy

Your privacy is simple in Skyllector: we don’t collect any personal data. No accounts, no ads, no trackers, and no servers of ours. This policy explains what information the app handles and how it always stays under your control.

What we do NOT collect

Skyllector does not collect, transmit, or sell personally identifiable information. Specifically, we do not collect: name, email, location, contacts, advertising identifiers, or usage/diagnostic data. The app contains no third-party analytics, advertising, or tracking SDKs, and makes no calls to external servers.

Data that stays on your device

The app stores locally the information you create as you use it: the characters (playthroughs) you add, their name and race, the character’s preferences (Anniversary Edition, game mode, etc.), and which content you’ve marked as completed. This data is stored in your device’s local storage (using Apple’s SwiftData framework) and stays there unless you enable iCloud.

You can delete all of this data at any time by removing characters in the app or by uninstalling it.

iCloud sync (optional)

If you enable iCloud sync, your progress syncs through your own private iCloud account, using Apple’s CloudKit framework. This data travels between your devices through Apple’s infrastructure and stays within your iCloud account; the developer of Skyllector has no access to it. Apple’s handling of that data is governed by Apple’s Privacy Policy. You can turn sync off at any time from the app’s settings or your device settings.

In-app purchases

Skyllector offers one optional one-time purchase (“Skyllector Pro”). All purchases are processed through Apple’s payment system (StoreKit). We don’t receive or store your payment information; Apple handles the transaction and the purchase state. See Apple’s Privacy Policy for more on how Apple handles payments.

No third parties, no ads, no tracking

Skyllector shows no advertising, shares no data with third parties, and uses no cross-app or cross-site tracking technologies. All game content ships inside the app and works offline.

Children’s privacy

Skyllector collects no data from anyone, including minors. The app is suitable for all ages and requests no personal information.

Game content

Factual game information (quests, items, achievements, etc.) is based on public data from the UESP wiki (under the CC-BY-SA license) and included in the app for reference only. Skyllector is not affiliated with Bethesda Softworks LLC or ZeniMax Media; The Elder Scrolls and Skyrim are trademarks of their respective owners.

Changes to this policy

If we change this policy in the future, we’ll update the effective date on this page. Significant changes will be reflected here.
