1. Overview

Playorb (“App”) is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we handle information when you use our application.

2. Information We Collect

What We Do NOT Collect

Playorb does NOT collect, store, or transmit any of the following:

Personal identification information (name, email, phone, address)
Location data
Contacts or calendar information
Analytics data (usage statistics, feature interactions, crash logs)
Advertising identifiers or device identifiers (IDFA, GAID)
Behavioral tracking data
Your music library, playlists, or listening history

Music Playback

Playorb never plays, stores, or distributes audio files. When you play back from your Apple Music, the music is played by the system player using the license you already have. Playorb only tells the player what queue to run — it never touches the audio itself.

Photo Library and Camera Usage (PhotoOrb)

Playorb accesses your photo library or camera only when you choose to set a photo as your PhotoOrb. The selected image is stored locally on your device and used as the sphere at the center of your session screen. No image is uploaded, transmitted, or saved on any server. If you delete the PhotoOrb photo from the app, it is removed from local storage.

3. Data Storage

Local Storage

Playorb stores the following data on your device:

Session history (mood, duration, success rate, dates)
Coins earned and orb collection progress
Your preferences and settings
PhotoOrb images you’ve selected

All data is stored in the app’s private sandbox by default.

Optional iCloud Synchronization

You may enable iCloud Sync through the app settings. When enabled, your session history, coin balance, orb collection, and preferences are synchronized to your iCloud account using Apple’s end-to-end encryption. You can disable iCloud Sync at any time through app settings. This sync is provided by Apple and governed by Apple’s Privacy Policy.

We do not share, sell, or transfer your data to any third parties beyond what Apple’s iCloud infrastructure requires for optional synchronization. Your data is encrypted during transmission and storage.

5. Third-Party Services

Playorb does not integrate with analytics platforms, advertising networks, social media platforms, or any external SDKs. The only external services used are:

Apple’s iCloud for optional sync
Apple’s App Store / StoreKit for in-app purchases
Apple Music (MusicKit) for optional playback from your Apple Music library

All governed by Apple’s own privacy policy.

6. In-App Purchases

Playorb offers two optional one-time purchases (“Playorb Pro” and “Playorb Ultimate”). Payment processing is handled entirely by Apple through the App Store. Playorb does not process, store, or have access to your payment information.

7. Children’s Privacy

Playorb does not knowingly collect information from children under 13. If a minor has used this application, please contact us to request deletion of any associated data.

8. Your Rights

You have the right to:

Access your data (stored locally on your device or in iCloud)
Delete your data (uninstall the app or clear app data from iOS Settings)
Opt out of iCloud Sync at any time (app settings or iOS Settings)
Revoke photo library, camera, or Apple Music permissions at any time (iOS Settings → Privacy)

9. Changes to This Policy

If this policy is updated, the changes will be reflected here with an updated date.
